Les Ferdinand is set to become a member of the backroom staff at Harry Redknapp's Tottenham Hotspur, as a striking consultant.
The former England international has made no secret of his allegiance to the club, and will make a return to White Hart Lane five years after he left for West Ham United.
Ferdinand said last week that should an offer come in from Redknapp, it would be hard to refuse.
"I'm a season ticket holder, I'm a Spurs supporter, and it's been horrible to see them this season, going through what they've gone through," he told Sky Sports News.
"If Harry thinks I can come in there and do a job, then I'm happy to help.
"It's a club I care about and if I thought the strikers could benefit from what I could give to them, then I'm more than happy to help."
