Premier Showdown - Nov 1-3

Another win for Dale Johnson means he stretches clear at the summit. Come on, people, this is starting to get tiresome now. Surely one of our intrepid challengers can drum up some competition?

This weekend, that responsibility falls to Arvin Lim who hails from the Philippines.

What does Arvin have to tell us? Let's find out!

He reveals: 'Hi guys! In basketball crazy Philippines, I'm a football convert since watching the 2002 World Cup rooting for Germany (I do business there). Now, I have ESPNsoccernet as my home page and follow all the major European leagues.

'I'm a 38 year old businessman who enjoys watching some of the matches at the local pub/bar. Sadly, football is not that popular in the Philippines so thank God for ESPN and Star Sports! I'm glad my wife shares my passion for the game so we don't have to fight for the TV on weekends. We don't have kids yet but our pet Labrador, Niko, loves the game as well. (Mostly, he loves kicking his soccerball and chasing after it.)

'We are Liverpool fans and we enjoyed watching the Reds end Chelsea's 86 match home win streak last weekend at Stamford Bridge. It's still early but I'm confident we can finally win the title this season after 18 long years! Go Reds!'

But can you win, Arvin? Let's find out.

Soccernet's Premier League Editor, Dale Johnson, and ESPNsoccernet Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth take up the test.

They, along with the challenger, cast their eyes over weekend's top flight fixtures in England and predict how they think each game will turn out.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the 'Rest of the World's' tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared between those level on points.
