Toure brothers not to be re-united at Arsenal

Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has dismissed claims he is keen to leave the Nou Camp and insists he is happy at the Catalan club despite being linked with a move to Arsenal.

The Ivory Coast international has been linked with the Gunners since the end of last season and has previously claimed that coach Arsene Wenger and his brother Kolo have tried to persuade him to join the north London outfit.

Last week Toure's agent announced Juventus were also in the running to sign his client during the January transfer window.

But Toure is adamant he has no intention of quitting Barca and has vowed to stay and fight for his place.

"I'm calm (about these rumours) because I'm very happy here and my family are too,'' he told El Mundo Deportivo.

"I'm happy to be playing here, because my objective is to be in a big club and that's what Barcelona is. I don't want to leave here.

"I'm very happy being in this club and playing in this shirt is amazing.''
