Premier Showdown - Oct 18-20

Welcome back to Showdown after the international break and the games come thick and fast now, don't forget there's a midweek round of games coming up at the end of the month so that's yet another chance to take on 'our experts'.

Dale moved joint top with the Rest of the World with a narrow win last time around. It looks like it's going to be ever-so-close this term.

Looking to send the ROTW clear this weekend is Juan Fer who's from Guatemala City.

He tells Showdown: 'I am a 17-year-old student who is about to finish 11th grade in Guatemala. I am in three soccer teams, and I am a huge Manchester United fan ever since I was little.

'I cannot stand Chelsea and their petrodollars, I believe the Premier League is the future of football and cannot wait for the Red Devils to win the Treble!'

Let's check out those predictions.

Soccernet's Premier League Editor, Dale Johnson, and ESPNsoccernet Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth take up the test.

They, along with the challenger, cast their eyes over weekend's top flight fixtures in England and predict how they think each game will turn out.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the 'Rest of the World's' tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared between those level on points.
