TURIN, October 17 (Serie A) - Sebastian Giovinco has signed a two-year contract extension at Juventus which will keep him at the Turin giants until June 2013.
The deal, confirmed by the club on Friday, puts an end to speculation linking the 21-year-old attacking midfielder with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal having shown an interest in Giovinco.
"We hope this will not be the last contract Sebastian signs with Juve," said the player´s agent Claudio Pasqualin.
"He wants to remain at this club for life.
"Sebastian is very happy with this deal."
Giovinco, who was one of the lowest paid players at the club, has seen his wages increased to one million euros per season.
The talented playmaker has become a fans' favourite at Turin´s Olympic Stadium since returning to the club this summer after a successful loan spell at Empoli.
