ASUNCION, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Striker Salvador Cabanas, who has recovered from injury, has been included in the Paraguay squad for World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Peru.

Cabanas, who plays for Mexican club America, missed last month's ties when Paraguay went four points clear of Brazil, Argentina and Chile at the top of the South American group after eight matches.

Paraguay face sixth-placed Colombia in Bogota next Saturday and Peru, one from bottom in the 10-nation group, at home four days later.

Midfielder Jonathan Santana of VfL Wolfsburg will miss the Colombia match through suspension.

Squad:

Goalkeepers: Justo Villar (Valladolid), Aldo Bobadilla (Independiente Medellin), Derlis Gomez (Nacional, Par.)

Defenders: Paulo Da Silva (Toluca), Julio Manzur (Pachuca), Dario Veron (Pumas UNAM), Claudio Morel (Boca Juniors), Carlos Bonet (Cruz Azul), Denis Caniza (Olimpia), Julio Cesar Caceres (Boca Juniors), Pedro Benitez (Tigres)

Midfielders: Edgar Barreto (Reggina), Edgar Gonzalez (Olimpia), Cristian Riveros (Cruz Azul), Jonathan Santana (VfL Wolfsburg), Enrique Vera (America), Aureliano Torres (San Lorenzo), Victor Caceres (Libertad), Osvaldo Martinez (Libertad)

Forwards: Roque Santa Cruz (Blackburn Rovers), Nelson Haedo (Borussia Dortmund), Oscar Cardozo (Benfica), Salvador Cabanas (America, Mx.), Dante Lopez (Pumas UNAM), Ariel Bogado (Atlas).
