Oklahoma 0-2 Oregon: Stoltenberg nets double

Jen Stoltenberg scored a pair of goals to lead Oregon past Oklahoma 2-0 at OU's John Crain Field.

Oregon improved to 7-2-1 on the season with the victory while Oklahoma fell to 1-10-0 after the defeat.

"It was a great road win for us," said Oregon head coach Tara Erickson. "Their record is deceptive because they are very athletic. They came at us hard but we played tough defense and Jen made two really great goals on the other end."

After a scoreless first half that saw the Ducks outshoot the Sooners 9-2 and force Oklahoma keeper Lisa Jett to make five saves, Stoltenberg scored her sixth and seventh goals of the season in the second half.

Oregon had a 15-8 shot advantage over Oklahoma in the game.
