AMSTERDAM, Sept 27 (Reuters) - A second-half header from Stijn Wuytens earned PSV Eindhoven a 1-0 victory against bottom side Volendam in the Dutch league on Saturday.
After four matches PSV have nine points and lead NAC Breda on goal difference. NAC recorded a 4-2 win against Heerenveen, who slipped from second to fifth with seven points.
Martijn Reuser and Anthony Lurling gave NAC a two-goal lead in the first half before Michael Dingsdag pulled one back on 41 minutes.
Matthew Amoah hit the net twice in four minutes to settle the match before the interval. Danijel Pranjic converted a 60th minute penalty for the visitors.
Twente Enschede cruised to a 3-0 home victory over Graafschap Doetinchem to move up to third place with eight points.
Striker Blaise N'Kufo opened the scoring 12 minutes before the break, while Romano Denneboom and Stein Huysegems struck late in the second half to seal the victory for Steve McClaren's side.
Ajax Amsterdam will host Vitesse Arnhem on Sunday, while Feyenoord visit Groningen.
