Pascal Feindouno has left St Etienne to join Qatari club Al-Saad on a three-year contract, the playmaker's agent confirmed on Thursday.
Al-Saad claimed on Tuesday they had completed the signing of the Guinea captain but that was immediately rejected by Les Verts, who insisted no agreement had been reached between the two clubs.
But Amadou Diaby, Feindouno's representative, has revealed a deal has now been struck.
"It is done," he told L'Equipe. "Pascal has signed for three years. Everything is sorted.
"We have with us all the documents we need."
Feindouno is believed to have moved for a fee of around seven million euros.
Diaby added: "He is more than happy over there.
"The way in which he has been welcomed is amazing. He is going to be very happy here."
St Etienne are yet to confirm the attacking midfielder's move.
Feindouno scored 34 goals in 138 Ligue 1 matches in his four years with St Etienne.
Al-Saad are also looking to tie up the signature of St Etienne's Brazilian centre-back Nivaldo.
