Hull City have signed former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos.
The 34-year-old Greek player left Bolton in the summer and has been without a club since.
He had been training with Hull as a free agent and now joins Phil Brown's Premier League side on a permanent contract.
The experienced Greece international spent five years at Bolton and scored some memorable and important goals for Wanderers.
However he drifted out of the first team at the Reebok Stadium and was shipped out at the end of last season, with Bolton manager Gary Megson deciding he was no longer needed.
At Hull he will compete for a place with the likes of George Boateng, Geovanni, Ian Ashbee, Peter Halmosi and Dean Marney.
The top-flight newcomers have confirmed Giannakopoulos has joined them initially until the end of the season.
