Camoranesi pens new Juventus deal
Juventus winger Mauro Camoranesi has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him in Turin until June 2011.
The Italy international has been a regular in the Bianconeri first team since his permanent switch from Hellas Verona in 2002, making over 200 appearances in all competitions during that time.
"This is an important day for me," said Camoranesi, who was a member of Italy's World Cup winning squad in 2006.
"I arrived in Turin in the summer of 2002 and I am proud to have the chance to wear the Bianconeri colours for nine seasons.
"It's not easy to play at the highest level for so long."
Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli expressed his delight at securing the services of the 31-year-old for a further 12 months.
"Mauro continues to prove his quality in Italy and in Europe," said Cobolli Gigli.
"We are very proud that he can wear the Bianconeri shirt for a further season."
