North Carolina 3-1 SC: Ababio hits brace

Junior forward Eddie Ababio scored the tying and go-ahead goals in a 10-minute span in the second half to lead No. 15 North Carolina to a 3-1 win over South Carolina Friday at Wake Forest's Deacon Fall Classic at Spry Stadium. The Tar Heels (3-0-0) extended their current winning streak to seven straight over the Gamecocks (1-1-1) with the victory.

In addition to Ababio's scores in the 60th and 69th minutes, freshman Billy Schuler netted his first career goal in the 72nd minute to close the scoring for the Tar Heels. Cameron Brown, who set up Ababio's second goal, recorded his second assist of the season.
