Escobar gets nod for Bolivia warm-up matches

Paraguay-born forward Pablo Escobar has been named in Bolivia's 21-man squad to face Panama in friendly international next Wednesday.

The Strongest front man was called up by Erwin Sanchez just 10 days after securing his Bolivian citizenship.

Escobar features alongside club mate Cristian Vargas and Bolivar defender Ignacio Garcia, who have also received their first senior squad call-ups.

Bolivia receive Panama on August 20 in Santa Cruz in a warm-up match ahead of next month's World Cup qualifying clashes with Ecuador and Brazil.
