Arsenal defender Justin Hoyte looks set to be the latest to join the Emirates exodus after Middlesbrough had a bid accepted for the 23-year-old. Boro want the right-back as a replacement for new Aston Villa recruit Luke Young, who was sold at the weekend. Chief executive Keith Lamb told Middlesbrough's website: 'We have agreed a fee with Arsenal and we have now been given permission to speak to Justin, which we will be doing in the next 24-48 hours.'
Hoyte has found it hard to win a first-team place at Arsenal, having made his debut as far back as 2003. He spent the 2005/6 season on loan at Sunderland, Boro's North-East rivals. Last season saw him drop further down Arsene Wenger's pecking order after the signing of Bacary Sagna.
