FC Dallas acquires Sikora and Cunningham

FC Dallas announced Friday that the team has acquired two players in separate transactions. Dallas has signed former Netherlands international Victor Sikora and also acquired forward Jeff Cunningham from Toronto FC in exchange for a third round pick in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft.

Sikora is a 30-year old midfielder, who has spent the last three seasons with NAC Breda, of the Dutch Eredivisie. He has scored 65 goals in 297 games for his clubs, and also made six appearances with the Netherlands national team.

Cunningham is the fourth leading goal-scorer in league history with 99 career regular season goals. He began his professional career in 1998 with the Columbus Crew, and has also made 10 appearances with the U.S. Men's National team.
