Dowie anticipates Galactico success at QPR

QPR boss Iain Dowie has described the loan capture of Real Madrid midfield prodigy Daniel Parejo as an 'incredibly exciting signing.'

The 19-year-old Spaniard has joined the R's on a season-long loan from the Spanish Champions, and Dowie admitted he can not wait to see him in action.

He told the club's official website: 'Daniel is a special talent and I am delighted that we have been able to add him to our ever-improving squad. It's an incredibly exciting signing for the club, and a real coup.

'He's one of the stars of Madrid's academy, and he is the link man we've been looking for. He's comfortable on the ball, has great technique and is deadly from set pieces.

'To get in any Real Madrid starting XI, you've got to be a very good player, and I've got no doubts whatsoever that he'll be a very good addition to our squad.'

Parejo said: 'I am very happy to be coming to London to play for Queens Park Rangers. The club is very ambitious, and I am convinced we can achieve our objective to get into the Premier League.'
