PSG defender plays down talk of Lyon

Paris St Germain defender Sylvain Armand has poured cold water on rumours linking him with a move to French champions Lyon. Les Gones are looking for a left-back who could act as cover for Fabio Grosso and the name of Armand, who was linked with them last summer, has come up again. But the 27-year-old is concentrating his efforts on starting the new Ligue 1 season well with PSG. 'For the moment, I do not really know much about it,' he told radio station RMC. 'The championship is going to begin and I am focused on PSG.' Lyon coach Claude Puel admitted finding a left-back was high up on his list of priorities, with the new campaign little more than a week away. 'We are thinking about this position,' he said. 'Behind Fabio Grosso, we only have two right-footers, (Anthony) Reveillere and the youngster (Lamine) Gassama.'
