Ancelotti rules out sale of striker Paloschi

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Alberto Paloschi will remain at the club at least for the next six months.

The 18-year-old striker has been linked with a move away from the San Siro following the arrival of Ronaldinho earlier this summer.

But Ancelotti said: 'Paloschi will remain with us. We have never considered selling him.

'He will remain with us until it's necessary. Paloschi will stay at least until the end of the year.'

Paloschi has made just seven appearances for Milan since joining their first team in 2007.

However, the striker is in search of more playing time and several clubs, including Sampdoria and Cagliari, have shown an interest in the player.

With the Rossoneri set to be without Marco Borriello for the start of the season after sustaining a knee injury, Paloschi could be given more minutes on the pitch.
