Inter reach agreement to sign Brazilian kid

Vasco da Gama have confirmed 16-year-old midfielder Philippe Coutinho will join Serie A champions Internazionale in 2010.

Coutinho, who signed his first professional contract last month, will fly to Italy in the next few days to complete the 3.8 million euros deal before moving to the San Siro in June 2010.

Coutinho is excited at the prospect of playing for the Nerazzurri.

He told Radio Brasil: 'I was happy to know such a big club was interested in me. I still have a lot to do to be there. My father always tells me to go on doing my job.

'I dream about playing in Europe and the national team.'

Before playing for Inter, he has another dream to come true.

'I would love to play a senior game here at Vasco, in front of a full Maracana.'
