Red Bulls ink Venezuelan Rojas, Argentina's Pietravallo

SECAUCUS, N.J. -- The New York Red Bulls signed midfielders Jorge Rojas and Juan Pietravallo on Thursday after they received their visas.

Both will be available for Saturday's game against David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy at Giants Stadium.

Rojas, 31, has played in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador, helping Caracas FC to four league titles in the Venezuelan First Division.

Prior to joining the Red Bulls, Rojas played for Union Atletico Maracaibo of the Venezuelan First Division. He has played in over 150 professional matches and earned 82 caps for Venezuela.

Pietravallo, 26, recently played three games with Veria FC in the Greek Super League. The Argentine also played for Belgrano de Córdoba of the Argentina Premier Division this year.
