Brazilian striker Adriano is determined to reclaim his place in the Internazionale team after returning to Italy.
Adriano arrived in Milan on Wednesday to report for pre-season training with Inter, and insisted he is ready to return to his old form after a six-month loan spell with Sao Paulo in his homeland.
'I am delighted to be back in this group where I hope to remain,' said Adriano.
'I know that (coach Jose) Mourinho likes my style of play and this is important. I know I will have to work hard in order to find a place in the team.'
Adriano returned to Brazil after suffering a collapse of form and confidence, but the 26-year-old insists his problems are now in the past.
'I managed to come out of a difficult situation at Sao Paulo,' he said.
'To have played there has helped me so much and I hope to do well with Inter.'
The 26-year-old will face tough competition for a starting place with Julio Cruz, David Suazo and Mario Balotelli looking to partner Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Mourinho's attacking line.
