De Haan names Makaay and Sibon in Dutch squad

ZEIST, July 15 (Olympics) - Holland coach Foppe de Haan has named his 18-man squad for next month's Olympics in Beijing.

Gerald Sibon, Roy Makaay and Kew Jaliens have been included as the three over-age players with the team set to meet on Sunday at a training camp.

As part of their preparations for the Games, Holland will face Belgium on July 23 before flying to Hong Kong for the ING Cup.

The team will then move onto Tianjin in China, where they play their first Olympic match against Nigeria on August 7 before also facing Japan and the United States in Group B.

Holland squad: Velthuizen (Vitesse Arnhem), Vermeer (Ajax); Jaliens (AZ Alkmaar), Jong-A-Pin (Heerenveen), Luijckx (AZ Alkmaar), Marcellis, Pieters (both PSV Eindhoven), Zuiverloon (West Bromwich Albion); Bakkal (PSV Eindhoven), Emanuelson (Ajax), De Guzman (Feyenoord), Maduro (Valencia), Sno (Celtic); Beerens (Heerenveen), Babel (Liverpool), Drenthe (Real Madrid), Makaay (Feyenoord), Sibon (Heerenveen).
