Basturk vows never to play against under Terim
STUTTGART, June 2 (National Team) - Turkey midfielder Yildiray Basturk has vowed never to play for the national team again as long as Fatih Terim remains in charge.
The Stuttgart playmaker was left out of coach Terim's 23-man squad for Euro 2008.
German-born Basturk, who was in the Bayer Leverkusen side which reached the Champions League final in 2002, was one of three players axed from the preliminary squad for the tournament.
Basturk, who has 49 caps for his country, told Kicker magazine: "'I like playing for Turkey, but under Fatih Terim I am never playing again. There is no point.'
