South Korea coach prepared to be ruthless

SEOUL, May 30 (Reuters) - South Korea coach Huh Jung-moo is prepared to drop his leading foreign-based players for the World Cup qualifier against Jordan on Saturday.

South Korea, bidding for their seventh successive trip to the World Cup Finals, top Asian Group Three with four points following victory over Turkmenistan and a draw with North Korea.

'I don't want to distinguish between overseas players and domestic players,' Huh told reporters.

South Korea have four players from the Premier League, including Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung, and should overwhelm Jordan in Seoul.

'If Park Ji-sung is not fit enough to play I will send out another player instead,' Huh said. 'Jordan doesn't seem threatening to us.'

South Korea next face away games in Jordan and Turkmenistan before completing the qualifying group with an emotional and potentially decisive game against rivals North Korea in Seoul on June 22.
