Palermo hitman Amauri set for Juventus
TURIN, May 28 (Serie A) - Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli is confident Palermo striker Amauri will sign for the Bianconeri by the end of the week. Amauri was widely expected to seal a move to the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday evening after passing a medical earlier that day. However the Brazilian is yet to put pen to paper on a deal committing him to the Bianconeri. 'It seems to me that Amauri has said that all the long formalities which precede firm deals will be completed on Friday,' said Gigli. 'I am optimistic, even if I know that contracts are never certain until someone puts ink on the paper. 'But I think it will happen on Friday.'
