Rain in Spain delays relegation deciders
MADRID, May 18 (Reuters) - Heavy rain in Mallorca saw the kickoff times of the three relegation deciders put back to 1700 GMT in the Primera Liga on Sunday.
The pitch at Mallorca's Ono Estadi was waterlogged after a heavy downpour and their match against 18th-placed Real Zaragoza had to be delayed an hour.
In order to ensure no team has an advantage in knowing the outcome of another game, the matches between Racing Santander and 17th-placed Osasuna, and 16th-placed Recreativo Huelva and Valladolid in 15th were also put back.
Two points separate Zaragoza and Valladolid on the final day of the season. Real Murcia and Levante have already been relegated.
