AMSTERDAM, April 29 (Reuters) - Twente Enschede cruised to a 3-0 home victory over nine-man NAC Breda on Tuesday in the semi-final, first leg of a playoff to decide the second Dutch Champions League qualifier.
Defender Rob Wielaert headed home an Orlando Engelaar free kick after 32 minutes to open the scoring before Breda had Patrick Mtiliga sent off for a second booking in the 64th minute and Ron Stam for a straight red card 13 minutes later.
Romano Denneboom doubled the lead 11 minutes from time and Stein Huysegems added a third in stoppage time to make the second leg, in Breda on Sunday, a formality.
Heerenveen host Ajax Amsterdam on Thursday in the first leg of the other semi-final. The winner of the final goes forward to next season's Champions League third qualifying stage.
Champions PSV Eindhoven secured the first Dutch berth in next season's European competition.
