The agent of reported Manchester City target Jo believes 'something will happen' in the near future to allow the CSKA Moscow striker to move to Eastlands.
It was claimed in a report earlier this week that the 21-year-old Brazilian - whose full name is Joao Alves de Assis Silva - was set to sign for the Barclays Premier League club in a euros 20 million deal despite recently extending his contract with the Russians to 2011.
His agent Marcelo Djian has now expressed confidence that a move can be agreed, despite apparent differences in the valuation of the player.
'I've made some calls to Russia and they told me there was no formal offer, but I think something will happen,' Djian told www.globoesporte.com.
'I know CSKA president (Evgeny Giner) wants 25 million euros, the release clause to sell Jo.'
