PSV made to wait after Ajax claim win
AMSTERDAM, April 16 (Reuters) - PSV Eindhoven were kept waiting for the Dutch league title after second-placed Ajax Amsterdam won 2-1 at Groningen on Wednesday. PSV are top with 69 points and visit Vitesse Arnhem in the final game of the season on Sunday. Ajax, who are three points adrift, host Heracles Almelo on the last day. Ajax's match at Groningen was postponed last Sunday after fans set fire to paper in the stands, causing more than 20 supporters to be treated for smoke inhalation. Rasmus Lindgren headed Ajax in front on Wednesday after 18 minutes before Argentine Matias Cahais equalised on the stroke of halftime. Dennis Rommedahl then set up a close-range winner for Luis Suarez in the 66th minute.
