African Cup holders CS Sfaxien advance
JOHANNESBURG, April 4 (Reuters) - Holders CS Sfaxien squeezed into the African Confederation Cup third round with a 2-1 aggregate victory after a 1-1 draw in the second leg at JSM Bejaia in Bejaia, Algeria on Friday.
Sfaxien fell behind when Braham Chaouch scored after three minutes but Younis Sellimi levelled midway through the first half and that proved to be enough to advance.
Compatriots Esperance also went through after a 2-0 home win over Moroccan second division side Rachad Bernoussi.
The victory at Rades, with first half goals from Kamel Zaiem and Saber Khalifa, saw Esperance win on away goals after an embarrassing 3-1 away defeat in the first leg a fortnight ago.
