Spurs target Espanyol keeper and defender
Tottenham assistant manager Gus Poyet has revealed the club could 'try to do a deal' for Espanyol pair Dani Jarque and Carlos Kameni. Cameroon goalkeeper Kameni is on director of football Damien Comolli's list to challenge Paul Robinson and Radek Cerny for the number one shirt, while Spanish defender Jarque, 24, is also being watched. Ramos knows both players from his time managing in La Liga and Poyet admitted a summer swoop could happen. He told the Daily Star : 'Kameni and Jarque are very interesting players - and any player who is interesting is welcome at a club such as Tottenham. 'Both of them are on our director of football's wanted list and the club is following them with a view to strengthening our team. 'We haven't yet taken a definite decision to bring them in, but we will try to do a deal in the future.'
