Premier Showdown - Feb 23-25

It seems like an age since our last round of matches due to the FA Cup. As you may remember, Dale Johnson snatched yet another victory thanks to Emmanuel Adebayor's injury time goal against Blackburn Rovers. The lucky so-and-so!

It's all looking academic now, with Dale 18.5 points in the clear and just 36 left on the table. It's going to take some effort for anyone to catch him - certainly as far as Tommy is concerned!

Our next challenger is Umesh Patel who is from the United States.

He tells Soccernet: 'I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I'm a big Manchester United Fan. I'm 35 years old and moved to the U.S 10 years ago from the U.K.

'I am in the hospitality trade and enjoy every minute of it. It's going to be a fantastic season as long as the Red Devils finish on top and the great Keano keeps Sunderland up.

'Let's see if I can't put Dale in his place this week.'

Let's see indeed!

Each week one of our readers, or an ESPNSoccernet Press Pass viewer, has the chance to challenge our two experts.

Soccernet's Premier League Editor, Dale Johnson, and Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth take up the test.

They, along with the challenger, cast their eyes over weekend's top flight fixtures in England and predict how they think each game will turn out.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the 'Rest of the World's' tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared between those level on points.
