Anthony Gardner wants to make his move to Everton permanent at the end of the season.
Currently on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, the centre-back is hoping to get a run of games when he has recovered from a muscle injury he picked up while still at Spurs.
With Champions League qualification a possibility and Everton impressing in Europe, Gardner admits he would be keen on joining the Toffees on a long-term contract.
He said: 'I am not sure what is going to happen. Everton are doing very well at the moment pushing for a Champions League spot and playing some good football, so if it was to turn out to be a permanent move, it would be good for me.'
