Premier Showdown - Feb 2/3

Well, well. Yep, you've guesses it, yet another victory for Dale Johnson in the last round. And somehow he managed to do it with a meagre six points! Now that's what you call a woeful week of predictions.

Time is running out for Dale to be stopped from claiming his first crown since 2004/05. We think it's in the bag.

Up this weekend we have Mike Baiocco.

Mike tells us: 'I am 18 and from Delaware, USA. I have always loved Manchester United! I'm a huge fan of Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes!

'I work at a desk on my computer so I am basically on here all day, every day checking scores or watching the GameCasts.

'Not a lot of people care when I talk about United, but I still talk non stop about the breathtaking play of Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney. THEY WILL WIN THE TREBLE!'

Now there's confidence for you!

Each week one of our readers, or an ESPNSoccernet Press Pass viewer, has the chance to challenge our two experts.

Soccernet's Premier League Editor, Dale Johnson, and Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth take up the test.

They, along with the challenger, cast their eyes over weekend's top flight fixtures in England and predict how they think each game will turn out.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the 'Rest of the World's' tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared between those level on points.

Another desperately low round of scoring sees Dale and Tommy share the points. We think they should hang their heads in shame! Dale's now 25.5 points clear with just 39 left on the table.

Table after Round 25:
Dale: 43
Rest of the World: 17.5
Tommy: 14.5

You can tune in to ESPNSoccernet Press Pass every Monday and Thursday.

So do you think you can beat the best of the best? Now is your chance to find out!

Send us your picks for the weekend's fixtures, along with your name and a few details about yourself. We'll select one person each week to take on our experts for the right to be crowned the weekly winner!

Then log on to Soccernet on Monday morning to find out who's taken the points.
