Midfielder Kim Do-heon still harbours hopes of resurrecting a move to West Brom or Watford.
The South Korea international trained with the Hornets last week before returning home to report for national team duty.
Kim also spent time at fellow Championship side West Brom in December but it was thought any potential transfer had fallen through due to the 25-year-old's inability to gain a work permit.
However, Kim insisted he was still hopeful a deal could be worked out.
'It is not over with West Bromwich and Watford is another possibility that has materialised,' the Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma player said.
'Nothing has been decided yet. If a decision is made then it will be time to sort out the work permit issue.'
Kim, who was also linked to Premier League strugglers Derby, is likely to play in South Korea's friendly with Chile in Seoul on Wednesday.
