Eredivisie: PSV snatch injury time win at Excelsior

AMSTERDAM, Jan 26 (Reuters) - Danny Koevermans netted a rebound in injury time to earn leaders PSV Eindhoven a hard-fought 2-1 victory over bottom side Excelsior Rotterdam in the Dutch league on Saturday.

Balazs Dzsudzsak opened the scoring for PSV from close range after six minutes but nine minutes before time Robert Braber set up Geert den Ouden, who equalised with a well-placed chip.

PSV remain top with 46 points after 21 matches, six points ahead of Ajax Amsterdam who travel to Vitesse Arnhem on Sunday, and Heerenveen, who won 3-0 at Graafschap Doetinchem on Saturday.

Michael Bradley put Heerenveen ahead after 20 minutes and midway through the second half Miralem Sulejmani doubled the lead. Bradley added his second goal nine minutes before time.

In-form NAC Breda celebrated their fourth straight win in 11 days, beating Roda JC Kerkrade 2-0 with Victor Sikora and Fouad Idabdelhay on target.

NAC climbed to seventh spot with 35 points, four behind Feyenoord and Groningen, fourth and fifth respectively, who will meet on Sunday in Rotterdam.

On Friday, strugglers Willem II Tilburg brushed aside AZ Alkmaar with a 3-0 victory.
