SEOUL, Jan 25 (Reuters) - David Beckham's LA Galaxy will play a friendly match against FC Seoul in March, an official at the South Korean side said on Friday.
'It'll be an opportunity to test out our skills ahead of the new (K-League) season and a meaningful event to return our fans' support,' said a media officer with FC Seoul.
The official added that it had not yet been decided whether England midfielder Beckham would play in the game, which will take place at Seoul's World Cup Stadium on March 1.
The Major League Soccer (MLS) club will also play a match against Chinese second division side East Asia in Shanghai on March 5, local media reported on Friday.
Club officials said the former England captain would be restricted to one half of the game at most to avoid the risk of injury before the start of the MLS season, Shanghai Daily said.
