FC Dallas close to signing Mexico defender Davino
DALLAS, Jan 7 (Reuters) - FC Dallas are holding talks with Mexico defender Duilio Davino.
The 31-year-old discussed the move with Dallas officials on Monday and made progress towards a deal, the Major League Soccer (MLS) club's media relations director German Sferra told Reuters on Monday.
Davino, capped 84 times, had been with Mexican team Club America from 1997 until he was released at the end of last season.
Should the deal go through, Davino's would become the second high-profile move from Club America to MLS in the past year, following Cuauhtemoc Blanco's switch to the Chicago Fire.
