Fergie admits FA ref rage charge
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted a Football Association charge of using abusive and/or insulting words to a match official. Ferguson was charged after confronting referee Mark Clattenburg at half-time of United's game at Bolton on November 24. The Scot was unhappy at some physical tackles going unpunished during the first half of the match, which the Red Devils lost 1-0. He has not requested a personal hearing and a regulatory commission will consider the charge in due course.
