Fantasy Squad of the Month - November 07

It's time to reveal the Premier League's Fantasy Squad of the Month for November - and boy it's a proud moment if you're a fan of the Villa as they dominate the squad!

In addition, it's time to hand out the plaudits to our next Manager of the Month prize winner - and a copy of FIFA 2008 goes to Jacky Yeoh of Malaysia who amassed 240 points.

Our other monthly winners were Dennis Boyce (Ligue 1), Juan Carlos Surco Arredondo (La Liga) and Wee Hin Chew (Serie A). We're still waiting to hear from a couple of previous mothly winners so please get in touch.

With the Manager of the Month getting a copy of FIFA 2008 there's every reason to sign-up if you've stalled before.

So, back to the Premier League squad of the month for October. It's a squad of 15, just like you have to select, based on points gained for players which would fit into the £100m budget. Who's in?

GOALKEEPERS: Aston Villa's Scott Carson may have had a bad time of it with England but he's the highest-scoring goalkeeper for the month. Just behind is the stopper for his parent club, Liverpool's Jose Reina.

DEFENDERS: Carson is joined in the team by his Villa team-mates Martin Laursen and Olof Mellberg. Goalscoring defender Noe Pamarot of Portsmouth is next in the defence along with Arsenal's William Gallas. The final defender is Juliano Belletti of Chelsea.

MIDFIELDERS: Into midfield now, and Everton's Tim Cahill celebrates his return to fitness by being the highest scorer of the month. Just behind him is Steven Gerrard - and he had another superb haul over the opening weekend of December. Tottenham's Jermaine Jenas is also selected while the final places go to another Villan, Gareth Barry, and Stephen Ireland of Manchester City.

STRIKERS: Quite remarkably, the whole of the strikeforce is taken up by Aston Villa players. Ashley Young, Gabriel Agbonlahor and John Carew prove to be the players which fit into the budget to create the points total of 309.

That squad would have scored 309 points - quite an improvement on Jacky Yeoh's 240! So, there's scope for anyone to pick up the big prize!
