Champions League: Inter and Roma both through

Roma progressed to the last 16 with Manchester United from Champions League Group F after a comprehensive 4-1 win over Dynamo Kiev.

The Italian side started in explosive fashion and went ahead after four minutes through Christian Panucci while Ludovic Giuly and Mirko Vucinic added to their lead before the break.

Ismael Bangoura pulled one back for Kiev after the break, but any hopes they had of staging a dramatic comeback were thwarted when Vucinic added his second and Roma's fourth.

Lyon are tied second place in Group E with Rangers after a 2-2 draw at home with leaders Barcelona.

Barcelona went ahead early on through Andres Iniesta but the French side pegged them back through Juninho.

Lionel Messi put the visitors ahead again in the second half from the penalty spot, but Juninho popped up with 10 minutes remaining to secure a point with a penalty of his own.

In Arsenal's group Steaua Bucharest played out a 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague.

Valentin Badea put Bucharest ahead in the first half, but Prague levelled 13 minutes from full-time through Zdenek Senkerik.

In Group G, Jefferson Farfan scored the only goal as PSV Eindhoven edged past CSKA Moscow, while Inter Milan beat Fenerbache thanks to goals from Julio Cruz, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Luis Jimenez.
