Eredivisie: Breda and Twente draw Utrecht win

FC Twente had to come from behind to draw 1-1 with NAC Breda in the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday.

The men from Enschede, whose coach Fred Rutten is being heavily linked with the coaching vacancy at Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven, went a goal down when Matthew Amoah opened the scoring.

But Luke Wilkshire's deflected strike hauled FC Twente level after 23 minutes.

It was also 1-1 at Doetinchem where hosts De Graafschap led be Excelsior levelled.

VVV Venlo earned a 2-0 win over Sparta Rotterdam while FC Utrecht hammered Willem II 4-1.

On Friday, NEC Nijmegen pulled away from the foot of the Eredivisie with a convincing 3-0 win over fellow-strugglers Heracles Almelo.

Tomorrow the biggest club match in Holland sees Feyenoord host Ajax in the 'Klassieker' while champions PSV battle with AZ Alkmaar.

Roda JC host FC Groningen in Kerkrade while Heerenveen travel to Arnhem to play Vitesse.
