GLASGOW, Scotland, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Steven Fletcher's second-half goal gave Hibernian a 1-0 win at Gretna on Saturday in the Scottish Premier League.
He rifled in a 52nd minute volley following a cut-back by Lewis Stevenson on the left to keep Hibs in third place in the standings.
The win took them to 25 points from 13 games, level on points with second-placed Rangers and fourth-placed Dundee United, who beat Kilmarnock 2-0 despite having Jordan Robertson sent off. Leaders Celtic are three points ahead.
Nine-man Inverness Caledonian Thistle slumped to a 3-0 home defeat by Motherwell. Striker Graham Bayne and defender Ross Tokely were sent off for the home side.
Rangers and Celtic had their matches postponed at the request of Scotland manager Alex McLeish in preparation for the country's Euro 2008 qualifier with Italy on Nov 17.
Rangers were due to play at St. Mirren while champions Celtic were supposed to be at home to Falkirk.
