Premier Showdown - Nov 3-5

It was back to winning ways for Dale Johnson last weekend as he opened up a massive 15-point gap from Tommy Smyth at the top of the table.

The ROTW's comeback , therefore, came to a abrupt halt - though we now have another challenger looking to cut the gap first to Tommy and then to Dale.

Stepping up to the plate for the next round of games is Andy McKenzie.

Andy tells Soccernet: 'Hi, I work in London, not far from the centre of football AKA Stamford Bridge - which is handy for a blue like me as I can zip down to the box office and buy match day tickets when they become available at short notice!'

Each week one of our readers, or an ESPNSoccernet Press Pass viewer, has the chance to challenge our two experts.

Soccernet's Premier League Editor, Dale Johnson, and Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth take up the test.

They, along with the challenger, cast their eyes over weekend's top flight fixtures in England and predict how they think each game will turn out.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the 'Rest of the World's' tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared between those level on points.

Dale secured victory with a game to go thanks to picking up two correct scorelines and five further correct results. Andy actually got more results correct - but Dale's points busting double takes him to glory.

Table after Round 12:
Dale: 25
Tommy: 7
Rest of the World: 4
