Derby defender Andy Todd is set to visit a spinal specialist today in an attempt to diagnose back and hamstring problems which have kept him out for two months.
The 33-year-old former Bolton defender has not played since the 6-0 defeat to Liverpool on September 1 but he has been able to train.
However, with his problems persisting Todd is hoping an expert opinion can come up with some answers.
'Andy has been training but he still feels uncomfortable so we won't be playing him unless everything is right,' manager Billy Davies told the club's website.
'We've had a number of people up to take a look at him but the problem hasn't been solved so we thought it would be best for Andy to see a spinal specialist.'
