MILAN, Italy -- AS Roma conceded a 90th-minute goal Sunday to tie Empoli 2-2 in the 11th round of the Serie A.
Empoli midfielder Sebastian Giovinco evened the match with a free kick, beating Roma goalkeeper Doni, who was standing off his line.
Ighli Vannucchi got Empoli's other goal in the 67th. Ludovic Giuly and Matteo Brighi scored for Roma in the first half.
Three other draws were also decided in the final minute: Amauri headed in for Palermo to make it 3-3 at Genoa; Ezequiel Lavezzi scored for Napoli in a 1-1 tie with Reggina; and Daniele Galloppa scored a deflected goal to lift Siena level with Parma at 2-2.

MADRID, Spain -- Nihat Kahveci scored two second-half goals and Villarreal rallied for a 4-3 win at Atletico Madrid in the Spanish league.
The win put Villarreal one point behind leader Real Madrid.
Pablo Ibanez headed Atletico into a ninth-minute lead and Simao Sabrosa doubled the advantage in the 25th.
Villarreal scored with a 31st-minute lob by Giuseppe Rossi and Fabricio Fuentes' shot in the 42nd.
Sergio Aguero put Atletico back in front in the 62nd with a header.
Kahveci replaced Rossi and scored in the 69th and 90th to give Atletico its first home defeat this season.
Defending champion Madrid leads the standings with 25 points, while Villarreal has 24. FC Barcelona, which hosted Real Betis later Sunday, has 21. Valencia also has 21.
Athletic Bilbao played Recreativo Huelva in another late game.

LONDON -- Kevin Nolan scored in injury time to give Bolton a 1-1 tie at West Ham in the Premier League.
George McCartney had put West Ham ahead with his first goal for the club in the 20th minute.
It was the third match in charge for new Bolton manager Gary Megson, who has overseen two draws and a loss. Bolton moved up one place to 18th with seven points from 12 games and hasn't won in the league since August.
West Ham stayed in 11th place.
Arsenal leads the Premier League with 27 points, ahead of Manchester United on goal difference.
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands -- Ajax returned to the top of the Dutch league by beating Roda JC 4-2.
Ajax took the lead in the 22nd minute when Klaas-Jan Huntelaar headed in his 11th goal of the season.
Roland Lamah equalized for Roda in the 38th, but Ajax reclaimed the lead four minutes later with a powerful header from Luis Suarez.
Albert Luque scored Ajax's third goal in the 46th, and Anouar Hadouir reduced Ajax's deficit to 3-2 in the 76th.
Huntelaar missed an 80th-minute penalty kick before Ajax substitute Dennis Rommedahl wrapped up the win in the 90th.
Feyenoord beat De Graafschap 2-0 with goals from Jonathan de Guzman and Roy Makaay. Ajax and Feyenoord both have 24 points, but the Amsterdam club has a better goal differential. PSV Eindhoven is next with 23.

GLASGOW, Scotland -- Hibernian tied 1-1 with Hearts in the Edinburgh derby to move into third place in the Scottish Premier League.
Hearts striker Christian Nade tied the match in the 46th minute.
Hibernian took the lead in the 18th minute on an own-goal from Hearts captain Christophe Berra.
Celtic leads the standings with 28 points, followed by Rangers with 25 and Hearts and Dundee United with 22. Hearts is eighth with 15 points.
