Bayern's Sosa to miss six weeks after surgery
Bayern Munich's Argentine international midfielder Jose Sosa is facing at least six weeks out after having surgery on his injured right ankle, the club said.
The 22-year-old has made just two brief appearances for Bayern since moving to Germany for €10 million from Estudiantes over the close season.
After coming on as a late substitute in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Hamburg he complained of ankle pain and tests revealed bone and cartilage splinters.
The surgery took place at the beginning of this week and Bayern said the earliest he can hope to return will be in the Bundesliga game against Bochum on October 22.
