Sweden's Ljungberg pulls out of U.S. match
STOCKHOLM -- Sweden captain Fredrik Ljungberg of West Ham United has pulled out of Wednesday's friendly against the United States in Gothenburg because of a groin injury, the Swedish FA said on its Web site on Sunday.
Defensive midfielder Tobias Linderoth of Galatasaray and AaB Aalborg striker Rade Prica have also withdrawn with injuries.
"We'll await Sunday's matches and wait until tomorrow with the decision if we'll possibly call in replacements," coach Lars Lagerback said in a statement.
The FA added that the three players should be fit in time for Sweden's Euro 2008 qualifying matches next month.
