Hutton braced for hostile Red Star re-match
Alan Hutton expects Rangers to face more rough treatment in the away leg of their Champions League third qualifying round tie against Red Star Belgrade.
The Rangers right-back was repeatedly fouled during the Ibrox leg in which Red Star amassed seven bookings, for which UEFA will fine the Serbians around £2,175.
Rangers snatched a 1-0 win thanks to Nacho Novo's 90th-minute strike on Tuesday evening, but Hutton does not expect the goal to take the sting out of Red Star's challenges in Serbia.
'I would imagine it's going to be the same over there, if not slightly worse,' he said.
'But we know what to expect now and we will prepare for that.'
Hutton saw the irony in the fact he was the victim of a host of wild challenges.
He said: 'I found it quite funny that I was the one who got kicked most of the time as I read a bit the other day about how I was quite crude in the tackle.
'It was definitely a bit different to what I've been used to - being kicked as much as that - but it's all part of football I suppose.
'I felt as though every time I got the ball and tried to move forward they were bringing me down.'
