Lions handed £30,000 fine by Football Association
Millwall have been handed a £30,000 fine by the Football Association after their players failed to improve their disciplinary record.
The fine was imposed after the Lions failed 'to show an acceptable improvement in its disciplinary record' and for a 'poor record of misconduct' during last season.
The FA have also handed Millwall an additional suspended £30,000 which will be imposed should their disciplinary record not improve during the current season.
The club have also been warned as to future conduct after 'failing to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion' in the 4-2 defeat at Huddersfield in April after Michael Collins was sent off and three players were cautioned.
